This past week we dropped by to see our very own mentor & big brother, Melloe Won. Who has been making some big moves at New Era's newest addition. Located right where the BAPE store once resided on California's very own, Melrose Ave., you can find the recently opened New Era Flagship Store. If you have never taken a trip down Melrose it is an internationally renowned shopping, entertainment, & dining destination. It used to be "THE SPOT" before it's cross street block became the most iconic destination for the "Streetwear" industry, better known as Fairfax.
Melloe has held us down since the day we first met back in 2010, He knows just about everyone & everything about this industry. He also has a brand of his own, Labels!
The New Era Store looks great! They have expanded to more than just hats, now they make a lil bit of everything. You may have seen a lil cameo of the shop from the VIP Opening a couple months back that showed up in our 2011 Recap Video.
Melloe is definitely one of the hardest working dudes we know, he has a lot of big plans & he makes them happen. We have worked together numerous of times & no matter what he still will let us know what's real, he definitely gave me a nice reality check when we chopped it up.
