Event | DYNT x Villainy x Bent Life Triple Threat

This upcoming Saturday we will be releasing a triple threat collab collection with the good folks of Villany Product & of course the Bent Life Crew. We had a lil BBQ Superbowl Sunday with all three crews to come together on a design & shoot some flicks. The collab will be releasing at the Villany Storefront in Downtown Pasadena during the day. We will be throwing an after party at 72 North Right down the street. This isn't a party you'd wanna miss, enjoy some photos below (courtesy of Villany):

DYNT Now Available at Backside Burbank

Opening up 2012, we decided it was time to expand the brand & open up to retailers all over the world. This was a decision we made back in 2011 to hold off on as we focus on quality control, scheduling, organization, etc. Now that we have opened up that door we have already opened up several accounts.

139 North San Fernando Blvd. in Burbank is where you can find Backside Burbank. Although we have opened several accounts, this one is very special to us considering it is the first to receive their first delivery.

We like to build genuine relationships with anyone who works with us so we have been personally delivering orders to our new retailers. We'd like to thank everyone over at Backside we appreciate each & everyone of you. They posted a quick blog about us on their page, check it out.

The shop looks great, we definitely make a perfect addition to the record shop that carries a majority of our favorite brands & music.

I'm sure anyone who follows Wezzie's Instagram knows that he is a avid wrestling fan. I haven't seen him get schooled once when it comes to wrestling facts tracing back decades. Somehow he has made it a tradition to watch all the Pay-Per-Views at Hooters every other month when they show.

ASAP Rocky x Black Scale x Mateo

Last week Mateo headed out to La Brea to work on two different projects with Asap Rocky & the Black Scale fam. The project consisted of a blacked out version of an original Old Dirty Bastard shot. It was definitely great working with two huge inspirations to us over at DYNT, we have been following the ASAP for a minute. In the midst of all the work there was always some downtime to take advantage of some dice rolling, previewing some videos, & talking projects & fashion. The photo came out ill & the commercial should be as well. Check out some footage below & be on the lookout for the final drafts.

STOP NET CENSORSHIP!

With voting right around the corner, we have to take action on this subject that has been in circulation for months now. With our brand we thrive off of the 1st Amendment "Freedom of Speech." This is now at stake in terms to the internet:

Two bills before Congress, known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House, would censor the Web and impose harmful regulations on American business. Millions of Internet users and entrepreneurs already oppose SOPA and PIPA.

The Senate will begin voting on January 24th. Please let them know how you feel. Sign this petition urging Congress to vote NO on PIPA and SOPA before it is too late.

Sample Sale and Art Walk this Sat.

This Saturday we will be closing out our Fall Season with a sample sale of exclusive product that we don't personally have ourselves. Come get your hands on some extremely limited product from everyone's favorite upcoming brand. The Sample Sale will be this Saturday at the Gallery, we will open at 1p, w also have the Art Walk Reception from 6-10. Come pick up some product and chill.

Snaps | Huf x Haroshi Opening Day

HUF has partnered with Japanese artist Haroshi and Bay Area-based skateboard distributor DLX Distribution on a collaboration that incorporates the clean design aesthetic of HUF, the raw, street-skating principles of DLX, and a combination of both elements represented through the artwork of Haroshi. It was a madhouse at the opening ceremony this past Saturday at the Huf warehouse. Enjoy some pics below:
