Event Recap | DYNT Gallery Reopening & Fall Release Party

You can't say we haven't warned everyone about how our events go, but we will say it again; "Our crew sure knows how to throw a party!" The week leading to this was hectic with a list of "to do's" that could hit the floor but we managed to get them done. The newly redone store was completed along with the first delivery of the season, I love seeing new tees on the racks.

The hard work definitely payed off, by 9 there was about 200+ people accounted for trying to find a way into the store. We had to tear down our window display to allow people & staff stuck outside to watch the fight & performances.

We played around on the mic for a second before the fight started to see who was going for Ortiz, three people spoke up.... Maybe there was more but they stayed quiet.

The two piece that was seen around the world that ended the fight.

After the fight Noa James & Stevie Crooks commenced to killing their performances! Footage coming soon.

"New York Nika" managed to get her hands on one of the "Duck Pocket Tees" these will be gone before I get a chance to put pictures up, think fast.

I have to put lil Rob on the blog, I call him "Big Rob" cause he's always trying to kickbox with someone, but if you go through the pics, he's lurking somewhere in a lot of them.

Danni took care of everyone's inebriation for the night! Make sure you thank her!

By the end of the night, the sigh of relief after another successful event, product moved out, no drama, no drinks spilled on our newly finished furniture, no other knockouts after Ortiz, & plenty of great memories. Couple Hours Away

Working with Black Scale

For the past few weeks we have been working close with Mega (Black Scale) & Melloe Won (Supply & Demand/Labels) on a new video series entitled "Behind the Brand". The video was shot & edited by our very own, Mateo. It was quite the experience working along side Mega, who even made an appearance in our neighborhood at the DYNT Gallery, he shared some good words about our grind & the shop...

In the process we got a chance to witness Norm do his thing in the alley behind Black Scale, & squeezed in a "WDYWT" segment with Sean Lyles that will be coming this Wednesday. Pics below:

Event Recap | D.I.Y. 9.9.11

This past week we were part of the "Do It Yourself" Fashion & Music Festival at the Glasshouse in Pomona. The event flowed smooth with a great crowd, we hosted a free raffle giving away a extremely limited "All Rights Deserved" Tanks (4 of 8 to be exact.) Soo, this week I had to change it up and slow it down. I've been down with this dude Jesse Boykins for a while now and this song really made it for me. It's nice, mellow and very relaxing to the ears. The video was actually put together very well, all the different random shots, the people, the water, the clouds pretty dope. Even the fact of him dancing makes it seem as though he had a great time creating this track in itself. This song get's two thumbs up from me. Let me know what you think??

Creating & Collaborating | John Mihovetz

As the re-opening gets closer we have been working all day nonstop trying to get as much stuff done with the shop. We have been collaborating with John Mihovetz on some of the interior pieces. The pieces he created are flawless, he has a great eye for detail on his products.

Events | Fall Release Party & DYNT Gallery Re-Opens.

Our DYNT Fall Delivery 1 is among us...

On top of that our shop is reopening for the season after going through a remodeling. The store is about 75% complete, we hope to see everyone out on the 17th. Make sure you go "Like" our facebook page, we have been updating & giving away pieces from our new Fall Line.

WDYWT | Anwar Carrots

A couple weeks back we got a chance to catch up with Anwar, of Peas & Carrots International & manager of Casey Veggies. We been working on the "WDYWT" segment on individuals with unique styles who developed their own style, Anwar was a perfect candidate. He has definitely been making the right moves in the past 4 years since I originally met him. Thank you to Anwar & The Trap House for your time & allowing us to come through and knock this out.
